I have had a wonderful time in Yerevan.
Although the weather was very cold and foggy, I really wanted to see as much as I could and my new friends, Lusine and Rouzanne took me all around the city centre.
We went to a place called Cascade. There are many stairs and levels that ‘cascade’ down the hillside. Unfortunately, the fountains and waterfalls were not turned on, but the building was still amazing!
The area at the bottom of the stairs had a lot of restaurants and interesting statues in the park. I did not really ‘understand’ all of the statues. I guess I am not such a clever bear. But I did like the big blue one! It looked a little bit like a penguin.
My friends bought me a lovely lunch and, after we had eaten it all up, we all went for a walk around the park, looked at all the statues and then we went shopping for souvenirs.
I also saw some local painters, the beautiful opera house and met more Armenian friends.
I wish I was staying longer, but I am on my way back to Tbilisi where David says he will soon send me on to his friends…
I wonder where I will be going next?
I am a little lost bear. I have lost my owner, my friends, my home and my memory. I do have some cloudy memories of a little girl but I cannot see her face when I close my eyes. I cannot remember anything else about my life apart from that.
I think my name is Jumble. That was the name given to me by the old lady who found me.
I am trying to find my way back home using the postal service as a way to travel around the world.
