Tbilisi 1 (Georgia)

Category:Georgia Tags :

I have arrived in a city called Tbilisi. It is the capital of a country called Georgia.

I looked it up on a map and it is very far away from England and even further from America.

It is winter and a bit cold here, but the city is beautiful. There is a mixture of old and new buildings and a big river called the Mtkvari that runs through the centre of the city. The countryside is very much like England. The woods are thick and the trees are big. It probably means that it rains a lot here too!

They speak a very different language to me and they even use different letters! However, I am with a nice English man called David that is looking after me for a while.

About Author

I am a little lost bear. I have lost my owner, my friends, my home and my memory. I do have some cloudy memories of a little girl but I cannot see her face when I close my eyes. I cannot remember anything else about my life apart from that. I think my name is Jumble. That was the name given to me by the old lady who found me. I am trying to find my way back home using the postal service as a way to travel around the world.

Hello Jumble!
I’m so pleased to hear you’ve safely arrived.
That man called David looks friendly enough, I’m sure you’ll be very happy during your stay there.
Why don’t you ask him to post you to somewhere nice and warm next?!
In the meantime have a fun time with David and his friends xx

    Hello Penny. How are you?
I miss Bournemouth a little bit, but Tbilisi is very nice. They speak a very funny language here and the words look like someone is hanging spaghetti on the walls.
David is looking after me well. He took me to the gym. I tried lifting weights (you people are very strong), and today he took me to the edge of the city to a nice little lake. We ate some local food and rode in a cable car. It was a lot of fun (and a bit scary).
I will write about it soon.
    Keep in touch.

    Hello Anita,
Thank you so much for stopping by my site to talk!
I was just in America, but only because I was travelling to Tbilisi in Georgia (where I am right now). I only saw a post office and airport… Hopefully, I can go back again some time and see America properly. Is it a big place?

The people before live in UK and Penny, the nice lady that looked after me for a while, helps people to adopt bears. None of them are quite like me, but they were very friendly creatures. Some are bigger and some about the same height. But none of them are as cute as me, of course!

Penny posted me very far. I am sure she can do the same for you. You can find her orphan bears at http://www.teddybearorphans.co.uk
